A mixed-abled Youth Project by young people from Germany, Poland and Greece with and without disabilities.

What means to be different in today's ‘normal’ society? Together we will develop new ways of communication and artistic collaboration.

the MASK 2021 offers a contemporary, interactive dance performance. Here, however, our attention is focused on the joy & fun factor and the active contribution of your own ideas and experiences with the theme identity.

We will connect in many different ways: The project, accompanied by a Video documentary, consists of digital meetings, two physical youth encounters of Dance, Theatre & Video workshops in Greece and Poland and then be presented in Germany as public performance.

During our program, in addition to barrier free accessibility, we ensure of course compliance with all corona regulations and undertake to adhere to our hygiene concept (including distance, face masks & protection, ventilation, cleaning, rules for workshops and any common leisure activities). We ask for your flexibility and reserve the right to change or shorten the program.

The first the MASK project “MASKS OVERCOME BARRIERS” took place in 2015 in Komotini. In 2017/18 we performed at Cologne the MASK Performance „EXCLUSION. EQUALITY. IDENTITY." based on the trilateral youth encounters "WITHOUT BORDERS AND BARRIERS" in Komotini, Kreisau and Cologne. Now we developed the third the MASK project “CREATIO CONTINUA. COMPLICITY IN IDENTITY”.

The youth project 2021 between Germany, Poland and Greece is implemented within the EUROPEANS FOR PEACE:Celebrate diversity! programme with support from the Foundation "Remembrance, Responsibility and Future" (EVZ). With financial support of the German-Greek and the German-Polish Youth Office.
